Done on Gimp with Erasmus fonts. I hope it comes through alright. It is a bit huge.
I'm finding Gimp to be a very good map making software. I'm hoping this thing will get through and be visible. I'm loving GIMP as a mapping tool. The mountains you see I designed as a paintbrush. The background is really holes in the picture with a sort of burnt paper background. It's pretty cool.
I have not put in the Easterwester highway, or the towns yet, but I'll briefly describe where things are.
If you can see the country of Cheyn, you will know where Coth is. This is where Drinna was leaving when she has her first rage. Thortinis is Drinna's home country. Down south, Kirosha-Tritha is the official recognized name of the (one and only) Kinto-shah Empire. There are other countries in the world run by kinto-shah and kunjels, but these are the main and first ones, and the Kinto-shah recognize this empire in much the same way as many religious people would recognize the Catholic church: the original, the source, the one from which others come, etc. (good or bad).
I have not yet labeled Drod, but it's over near the eastern mountain rage in Thortinis, and it is from here that Droddies come, a type of people Drinna encounters and with whom kunjels have a great deal of anymosity.
